Abdullah Al-Mudhaf: Between Breaking Traditional Thinking and Believing in Youth Potential

I had the honor of working closely on the massive “Al-Qabas Electronic” project with Mr. Abdullah Ghazi Al-Mudhaf. The truth is, dear reader, that Mr. Al-Mudhaf provided an opportunity for my company that would not have been possible under anyone else. He reinforced a principle often repeated—but rarely applied—by decision-makers: harnessing and investing in the potential of Kuwaiti youth.

Not for a moment did I sense any hesitation from him in entrusting the task of executing the “Al-Qabas Electronic” project to our relatively young company. He made the decision after closely observing our achievements, setting aside the traditional mindset that often leans on accumulated years of experience over innovative creativity.

What’s remarkable, dear reader, is that this unconventional approach went beyond the selection process to include the working method itself. Mr. Al-Mudhaf implemented a high-intensity work model that carried some risk of burnout. He insisted on completing this project in record time, driving us to work day and night with his unwavering support and an extraordinary level of trust in the capabilities of young people. This created a positive pressure and a personal challenge to bring our capabilities to bear for the benefit of the Al-Qabas Electronic readers.

Now that the fruits of that effort are in the hands of readers, I can say this: hearing repeated statements about the impact of supporting youth often felt monotonous and unconvincing to me—until I had the chance to work with Abdullah Al-Mudhaf. That experience changed my perspective, likely because of his genuine belief in the capabilities of young people like himself. So, my heartfelt thanks go to those behind this unique experience in our beloved nation.
